Der etwas sonderliche Patrick lebt mit seinem Hund Mars zusammen im Haus seiner verstorbenen Eltern. Als seine Schwester, eine erfolgreiche Make-Up Artistin, ihren verlobten, TV-Star Ryan vorstellt, ist er nicht sonderlich begeistert. Als er ein Telefongespräch von Ryan belauscht, versteht er ein Zitat in einem Interview irrtümlicherweise als Absicht Patricks Schwester zu ermorden! Nun ist für ihn klar: Ryan muss weg! Patrick plant schon den perfekten Mord, als Ryan Opfer eines tödlichen Unfalls wird. Nun hat Patrick ein neues Problem: Wie entsorgt er möglichst unauffällig die Leiche ? Dies erweist sich als schwierig, da die Leiche immer wieder auftaucht. Daher bleibt ihm nur der ultimative Entsorgungsweg, wobei sein Hund und die der Nachbarn eine grosse Rolle spielen.
