Right after scanning the amiibo, run over to the campsite and you’ll find that the camper you invited has set up a tent. Walk into the tent and talk with them. They’re going to play hard to get and will ask you to build them some furniture. Craft the requested item and then give it to them. This process will take a few days since you’ll need to invite them to the island at least twice and craft at least two pieces of furniture that they request before they’re willing to move in. If there is no home available for them, you will need to build one. Your island can hold up to 10 villagers in total. At some point, you’ll need to force a villager to move out if you want to add any more. But don’t worry.
